My class consists of 13 students, ages 18 to 21, young men and women with special needs. Students have graduated from high school and are continuing education students. They have chosen to continue their education to increase academic, life skills, and workplace readiness skills. Students work on self-advocacy, communication, and work experience. Continuing education serves to provide young adults with the skills they need to transition to adult life. Our goal is for students to obtain competitive paid employment and/or transition into an adult day program and enrich their social lives.
