Coding is becoming a wanted and needed skill in the job force. I want to introduce coding to my first graders so they can develop and build on this skill. Coding starts out so simple and the students can work at their own pace and choose activities that interest them as they are learning. My students will feel empowered by the knowledge of coding that they will gain this year in my classroom. Computers and iPads are limited at our school and I feel that by bringing in iPads, I will be better able to provide opportunities for my students to become future coders.

About my class
