Bayou Boeuf Elementary School is a small school in a very close-knit community. Our classroom is very special. It is over 100 years old. Many members of our community have had all family members attend school in the "Little Red Schoolhouse". The Little Red Schoolhouse has given many wonderful memories to the community. Our community is one that is full of generous people. Everyone is always willing to go the extra mile for someone else and give even if they don't have something for themselves. If I had to describe the Bayou Boeuf community and my wonderful students in one word it would be self-less. This wonderful trait is something that even my young kindergarteners understand.
