The students at my school work hard to make sure that they are college ready. For most of them, they will be the first person in their family to go to college. Over 90% of them qualify for free or reduced lunch, and paying for school supplies is difficult for many families.
While they are all brilliant students, many of them still need to practice important mathematical concepts. For many of them English is not their first language. The goal of our school is make sure that students have the skills needed to do well in whatever path they choose, and the students know this, and persevere through many challenges to receive their diploma.
