I have a class of 14 active kindergarteners who love to learn. Some of these students come from homes where technology is not available. They came into Kindergarten knowing only some letter names and sounds. Now they are reading and writing. I want them to continue to prosper academically, especially more and more independently. Just last year we were given an Apple iPad for our class. They get excited every time they use the iPad and what a difference it has made. Unfortunately, not all of my students get adequate time to use it. We would like Leap Pads to implement it as a daily learning center and in small intervention groups.
