My classroom consists of 30 low-income students. They are very active and love running around during recess and PE. Most of them are into playing sports and want to be professional athletes when they grow up. The school services mostly low-income students and we are trying to create a culture of where being active and healthy is the norm. However, due to our limited budget we are not able to provide each classroom with enough equipment to help nourish the children's want and need to play different sports. Also, many of our students come from living conditions where they're restraint and do not have much access to physical activity. I would like to provide my students many opportunities and options for keeping healthy and active at least for about a couple hours a week.
