Donations for this project will make a difference with my students' learning by allowing them to read a variety of books that are always available to them. Having many books at their level will allow them to choose several books and keep them handy in their own personal storage space.
The books will be used by each student, so their chosen books are always at their fingertips.
They will choose a variety of books from the classroom library and store them in their book bags. They will have them next to their desk during the day, so they always have access to them. When students have the sense of ownership, such as their personal set of books, they take responsibility for their learning and make better strides in learning.
