My students are eager learners who are curious about the world around them. They are readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, historians, and most importantly thinkers! My students are currently adapting to the new Common Core State Standards and will be expected to problem solve and explain their thought process. They are not only expected to master the standards, but they are required to show their mastery by taking a test on the computer. Because of this, they need access to computers to improve their typing and technology skills. Our school and the state has been dealing with budget cuts. Funding for students has decreased significantly making it difficult to update our school technology.
