My students write daily in their writing journals. Throughout the year we have been learning and writing about the different writing genres. Recently we finished an informational writing unit about a country of their choice.
As we move through the second half of the school year, we are running out of supplies. It will be very helpful for my students to have plenty of notebooks, pencils, erasers and folders to keep them engaged, inspired, and organized with their writing.
Also, the student enjoy using dry erase markers on their mini white boards during small group math instruction. They are more engaged when they can use the markers and the boards to show their work.
