Our school is an elementary school which contains first and second grades only. We have a total enrollment of around 220. I have 16 second graders who range from low to middle income families. I have a very diverse classroom made up of White, African-American, Hispanic and Indian children. Our school is a Title I school where many of the students receive free and reduced lunches. Many of my students do not have access to books or technology at home. They are anxious to come to school because they get to experience using technology, and have access to large numbers of books of different genres. My students are enthusiastic learners! They love school and enjoy the learning opportunities that attending school affords them.
