The music room at our school is filled with hundreds of eager learners everyday. Our school is one of the most diverse schools in the state of Vermont, with students from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. Many of our students come from refugee families and countries as far as Nigeria, Somalia Vietnam, Burma, Bosnia, and Nepal. The music classroom is a place where all students can relate to each other and all students can succeed. Whether it be playing a beat on a drum, singing a whimsical folk song, or accompanying with an elaborate xylophone part, every student in the music room has an important role to play!
