I teach an exciting class of 22 active first graders at a low income school. With such a group of diverse kids, every day is an adventure. I have several students who are English Language Learners, and some students can read chapter books already. Above all else, my students love technology and the discovery that comes with it. Sadly, my school receives little funding to accommodate such a wide range of learners. Most of the students come from single parent homes and live in low income government housing. Having these resources available in my classroom will help the students understand that technology is an important part of their education.
