My second grade classroom is made up of 6 and 7 year old children. The demographic is mixed between middle class and lower class families. They are a very busy bunch! They love to learn and participate in active, hands-on learning. They enjoy playing learning games and working in partnerships to complete assignments.
Our school is large with approximately 550 students. It is a very community oriented, welcoming school. Children's artwork lines the hallways and makes the school so cheerful. The staff really goes out of their way to provide the best education for the children. The administration knows every student by name. It is a wonderful place to be.
