My students are a very diverse group! I am the main music teacher at our school, so my students range from Transitional Kindergarten up to Fourth grade. The majority are of African American and Hispanic descent, and a large amount are English Language Learners. They attend a Title 1 school in a lower income neighborhood. My favorite part of teaching my students is seeing the wide smiles and eagerness with which they approach music making.
