Two of my classes are mainly comprised of students who receive Special Ed services. One of my classes contains some of the most academically advanced students in the school. All of my students will benefit from this project. It is imperative that students recognize the relationship between science, math and technology. Students find meaning in things that they can relate to. Becoming a scientist in the classroom, rather than just reading about science, allows students to understand concepts. Middle school is a place where students develop science skills necessary for high school, college and future employment. Students need to experience the role that science and technology has in our everyday lives. Students need to be able to analyze, interpret, and solve problems.
