I am excited to begin a new teaching adventure this fall by switching to Grade Four; I am moving on from teaching Grade Six for the past eight years. One of my goals is to promote the love of literature to my new students. The only problem is my classroom is completely empty of novels!
With your help, I can create a classroom library for my fourth graders so they can discover the same classics that you loved while you were their age - novels such as Shiloh, James & the Giant Peach, Ramona & Beezus, Fudge, Pippi Longstocking, and Mr. Poppin's Penguins.
