Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and it is important for kids to understand and be able to work with and understand the technology around them. Having children learn coding at a young age prepares them for the future. Coding helps children with communication, creativity, math,writing, and confidence. I have chosen the Bee Bot rechargeable robots because the promote directional language, programming skills, and mapping skills. The Bee-Bot robot also promotes cognitive skills like experimentation, observation, manipulation, problem solving, as well as creative and critical thinking, and application of learning. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve students problem solving and critical thinking skills, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
