Within my classroom, I have students who are emotionally disturbed, autistic, speech and language, and learning disabled. With the games, individual centers, collaborative resources, therapeutic materials, it will give my students with special needs a greater chance at learning. The materials requested are specific to my children's needs to give them an advantage at learning. For example, our students have sensory and tactile experiences. Therefore, the sand board to write letters are very soothing. The various games and therapeutic resources allows room for differentiation, especially for my students for have disabilities. These materials are used for educational purposes for the benefit of the children in my class. For example, the individualized games, such as the folder games allow differentiated, and hands-on instruction that can be used for the various levels of the children. The lamination machine protects handmade materials for the children for individualized instruction to be protected, such as individual schedules, personalized charts and supports.
