Since teaching here at Yosemite Middle School, I have found that some of these students enjoy the attention that they receive, since many of them do not get it at home, therefore how we present it to them really makes a big difference with We believe that we need to help our team players how to become a positive person in our community and by having them build this together, they will better understand how things can be accomplished through collaboration and teamwork. One of the greatest things that we can offer to our scholars is our sport programs. We are trying to improve our gym room for our, both general and special education, student-athletes because our sports programs allows our students a place to be, keeping them on the Yosemite Middle School teams and off the streets. Our students attend a Title 1 school in South-East Fresno, where 98% of students are on free or reduced-price lunch. Our students need an actual weight room to prepare for extracurricular activities, including football, basketball, baseball, etc.
