My students are English Language Learners. Most of them come from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Central America. All of my students have different background experiences are at different readiness levels. Some students have special needs, which require more support, modified instruction and accommodations.
My school is amazing. I work in a very supportive and welcoming environment. Our school consists of approximately 1,000 students in a low income community. We work really closely with students and families to meet the schools vision/mission. Additionally, we have an outside agency that provides therapy to families who have been through trauma. Our school serves English Language Learners, Special Needs, ESL and monolingual students from Pre-K - 8.
