Our school is a Title I school which means that the majority of our students are living in low-income homes. Our students face many difficulties every day, including both the poverty level and difficulty speaking the English language. Our school tries to help these students by offering them many programs that we can find like free breakfast for everybody. Our teachers are dedicated to our student success, and we try to give our students the best chance at a better life.
As a Pre-k through Kindergarten campus, we have the babies of our district. This is especially true of my classroom for 4-year-old students. But I truly believe that all their future academic success starts with us, at this level. And by offering them the best education possible, we will give them that love for learning that will make a difference later on in their lives.
