I have a very sweet group. Many are far below grade level, but they are all showing great effort to improve. I am hoping to be able to better assess them as individuals and know that I am grading their work, and not their neighbor's work. They are fourth graders in a low income area, and I am working hard to get all of the supplies they need to be successful at school. Many do not have supplies they need, and I have spent the first month making sure they all have folders, pencils, markers, paper at home, books to read, and other important supplies.
