My students do not yet know the joy of sitting around the carpet to do morning meetings, listen to a read aloud story, or grab a book from our classroom library. (Labels are for our books which are now transitioning and being relabeled from AR #s to Lexile #s.) They have not used interactive notebooks (lots of Teachers Pay Teachers resources) or flexible seating (seat cushions). These resources will help provide our students with some of what they have missed during our time in distance learning. They will also support our students in adjusting to being back in school.
