Thank you for visiting my page. As a school media specialist I am dedicated to preparing my students for this fast paced media driven society. Our library/media center provides for them a place to learn, research and discover what is beyond a typical classroom through books and additional media. I instruct 500 plus students and each has his or her own unique need which I try my very best to meet.
The demographic of my students are largely of African American and Hispanic origin. With 66% of our district being free or reduced lunch, most of these students' parents are unable to afford the purchase of textbooks, books of leisure, computers and emerging technology for them to do homework or research.
With your help we can work together to equip them with the things they need to make them successful citizens in our society. Thank you in advance for all of your help!!
