Our students will begin their experience at the Rosicrucian Museum with a tour of artifacts designed to teach them about the time periods, daily life, and deities of Ancient Egypt. Students will then continue the tour out in the garden, to discover the plants and principles of Ancient Egyptian alchemy, along with how the Egyptians used alchemy in their lives and afterlife practices. Students will visit the museum's underground tomb to find out more about the ancient culture's funerary practices. In addition, we will explore the grounds of the museum, Rosicrucian Park, which includes the Rosicrucian Labyrinth, Peace Garden, and Rosicrucian Temple.
All learners need real, lived experiences to interact with and deeply understand the world around them. By exploring the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, our students will walk away with a deeper understanding not only of Ancient Egypt, but also of how the practices of an ancient people are connected to the modern lives we live today. We hope these deeper connections inspire our students to carry with them a lifelong interest in the history of ancient peoples across the world.
