As of the 2013 school year, 78.8% of our students were considered Economically Disadvantaged. My class is made up of 22 students from various family situations. Many of my students have little if any access to technology outside of the classroom. They also range in reading levels from preK to fifth grade. My students have a passion for learning that I hope to foster so that they become life long learners. They are passionate about reading and work hard to accomplish goals that they set for themselves. They often have very limited vocabulary and a limited knowledge of the world outside of our small town.
