I am the only school counselor providing social-emotional support to around 520 students at Agnor Elementary. My school is a Title I school located in the urban area of Charlottesville, VA. I deeply care for my students and feel privileged to be able to support their many social, emotional, and personal needs. It takes time and patience to build trust and rapport with them, and your support allows me to tailor their social-emotional journey to their individual needs, which helps establish the necessary rapport and relationship. This, in turn, enables them to manage their emotions and return to class ready to learn.
