In our classroom, we use Chromebooks and textbooks for our lessons. While these provide students with excellent information, there is nothing like experiencing the sights of magnificent ancient civilizations, their ruins, and their art through one's own eyes! Providing the opportunity for my students to see the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, India, China, Greece, and Rome will bring history and its artifacts to life and spark a greater appreciation and understanding of history and its relation to us today. With your generous support, you will enable students that might never be able to witness these many of these sights to virtually see history through their own eyes, appreciate the magnitude of the contributions made throughout history, and learn from past mistakes. Allowing students to witness history in this manner will lead to a deeper understanding of history, its impact on the world today, and will allow students to use their knowledge in an effort to make a difference in our world. The spectacular visuals will spark greater interest and enthusiasm for learning and will ultimately improve education for these students and open up a whole new world they never fully understood.
