My students are brilliant mathematicians, readers, authors, good citizens, and have unbridled potential despite some harsh and humble beginnings beyond their control. My students were born into circumstances that may have limited them financially and emotionally, but what they lack in dollars, they make up in perspective and empathy. My students are hardworking scholars, overcoming educational obstacles daily, working hard to bridge gaps in their learning from truancy, frequent changing of schools, and backsliding. We are a community of learners dedicated to becoming proficient and advanced in our fourth grade educations. We are also committed to operating as individuals that exhibit exemplary citizenship, values, and ambition. Our school motto is: "Learn everything you can, Work hard, Always do your best, Help Others, and Success will follow."
