The students in my classroom are high energy learners that need their curiosity piqued and a sense of challenge. The students in my classroom come from more than 20 different countries and 75% of them are at or below the poverty line. They love to be active learners, but yet want high standards held for them. Topics that can reflect issues of population, energy resources, and technology are things that get them hooked, because these are the issues they will face in the future. They want to be inspired by what we do in the classroom. If given the opportunity, these students will be good stewards of our future, but they have to be inspired to rise out of the socio-economic class they were born to.
About my class
