iPads can become a useful and powerful educational tool for my classroom. Instruction and curriculum need to constantly adapt to new information, technologies, and interests. Beyond the immediate benefit of engaging students, iPads can improve education efficiency and standards.
iPads will be used by the students to create paperless classrooms, share interactive presentations, and allow them to explore and create beyond their wildest dreams, something that many of my students haven't been able to achieve, YET!
Educators will be able to co-teach and further differentiate their instruction and use the many educational apps such as iBooks, Dropbox, AutoRap, and Poll Student to further make a difference in students' educations.
I've realized that sometimes my students are great auditory processors - explain something once to them and they get it. Others need to sit and read. Many students lean towards more visual modes of learning. Technology offers options for my students, which continues to release me from a "one size fits all" teaching model.
