My students come from a poverty neighborhood. The entire school receives free breakfast and lunch. They are sweet, kind and lovable. They have a strong desire to learn and overcome their home environment struggles to be intelligent and smart individuals. They have the desire to dream big, to do more than the next. The school as a whole has this mindset. We all want to see the good in others and learn just as much as anyone else, despite where we live.
