I am fortunate enough to work with a diverse population in a Title 1 school. My school is packed full of caring and nurturing teachers who strive to meet the needs of each and every child on a daily basis. It is a building full of well educated, nurturing and loving educators. They look at each situation through the eyes of a child.
My classroom is made up of nineteen students with their own personal needs. In my classroom alone I have children from over six different countries. The children come in at many different levels and backgrounds. My job is to grow each child a year or more no matter what their entry point in order to be successful as the move forward to first grade next year.
