I teach second grade in a very low income area of Florida. My students are very diverse academically. I have several students who need academic enrichment; however, I also have many students who need academic remediation and review. We do literacy centers daily and an iPad Mini would contribute greatly to my ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all my students. The iPad Mini can be used to download interactive and engaging applications for fluency, phonemic awareness, spelling, vocabulary, and comprehension. About my class
