The supplies that I am hoping to get funded for my students will be essential to helping them succeed as they go off to college by ensuring that they are equipped with the basic supplies such as the notebooks and writing utensils needed to take notes in class. Many of our students do not have the funds for the basic schools supplies that they will need in order to be successful at the college level. I am hoping to help provide some of those items in care packages that will be given to our students at our school-wide decision day in order to alleviate some of the stress they are already feeling about leaving home for the first time.
