My students are from both the general education and special education populations. I serve multiple schools throughout our city so my students represent diverse socio-economic and cultural groups. They range in age from 3 to 12 years old though some years range from 3 to 21 years old. These students represent a variety of physical and cognitive abilities. Their abilities allow me the opportunity to serve in various programs such as self contained, integrated, and those that are home-bound. All of my students struggle with learning whether it is acquiring knowledge or accessing and sharing their knowledge either due to physical or cognitive challenges. Technology helps level the playing field and decrease the impact of their disability on their learning.
