My students are mostly from low income families. I work with many students that often lack the support needed to foster academic growth. My classroom consists of 22 students. Nine are classified as students with special needs. There are currently 5 children reading at grade level. Several students are English Language Learners. My school works very hard to create a positive environment that does foster learning. We currently are working hard at building our communities ties and relationships with our families. We work together as a school community to help each child reach their full potential.
