My students are hard-working and very intuitive. They are eager to participate in lessons and to share their ideas. We are a multicultural class and are learning to embrace and celebrate our differences. Our school, as a whole, consists of students and teachers from many different cultures and backgrounds. We have a heavy ESL population, but are diligent in helping all students to succeed. My students struggle in math and reading, but they have been showing growth in the end of grade testing and we are so excited about that! My goal is that my students continue to progress and that I have all of the tools necessary to help them. In using 21st century skills, my students need to be technologically savvy and to develop social skills necessary to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
