I work with 13 unique and amazing students with varying exceptionalities. These exceptionalities keep them from being able to express themselves verbally. I'm in charge with equipping their classrooms with an organized picture symbol system for them to use. These pictures will be integrated throughout the classroom in order for the students to have access to communicate their needs at anytime. These kids are full of life and want to share their thoughts, feelings, and desires with the world. However, due to their severe language impairments they don't have the ability to verbalize like the rest of. The need a voice!

About my class
