I teach a French/English bilingual Kindergarten class in Manhattan. Half my students come from Francophone families from countries all over the world (Europe, North and West Africa, Caribbean...). The other half of the class is composed of Anglophone students who are eager to learn French. The class is taught alternatively in English and French; all children will be fully bilingual by the end of elementary school.
