Beginning in 4th grade (now, some start earlier on their own), every student is introduced to the Ukulele. They are all extremely eager to learn how to play the ukulele. However, some students need more help and time to acquire the necessary skills.
We have students from all around the world bringing over 27 different languages with them. And, the one language we all have in common is MUSIC!
Many of our families look at purchasing an instrument such as the ukulele for their child as an added burden and an extra, unnecessary expense.
Having access to ukuleles through a school program will increase student learning.
