The use of student mailboxes is a daily occurrence in my classroom. Since adopting a new reading and math curriculum, students are required to keep running notebooks for each subject as well as have a space for materials to be stored. Student mailboxes will allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to store and organize their work. Instead of students misplacing things in their desk, this organizer will help students avoid the problems of unorganized and misplaced materials, and focus on increasing their learning instead!
