First and foremost, my students are bright, funny, and loving! They are eager to learn and are thrilled as they discover their own unique gifts and talents. The majority of my students come from economically disadvantaged homes and kindergarten is truly their first school experience. Many students also come from families where English in not their primary language. These are factors for my students that contribute to the often talked about "Achievement Gap".
