My students have little means in accessing and technology for creative assignments. Within our project-based learning curriculum, students have the opportunity to demonstrate their learning by creating comic books, songs/music videos, short stories/movie scripts, as well as theatrical poetry presentations. I need a MacBook laptop so my students have access to an innovative medium that will serve as a bridge to their academic achievement while engaging their interests and minimizing their cognitive disadvantages. With this resource, my students will be able to create artistic presentations, incorporating their knowledge of the literary elements such as setting, conflict, plot, point of view, characterization, author's purpose, and theme. My students will begin to see themselves as responsible participants in the demonstration of their learning. While in centers, this laptop will aide us in the process of becoming lifelong learners. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support in the aid of academic livelihood!
