They are a group of students that try their best to learn the subjects. The students with IEP have a learning disability, speech impairment, and hearing impairment. Also, we have students that are ELLS. In social studies, the students enjoy completing extra work and enjoy having classroom discussions on the topics. My kids learn using many modalities, but enjoy visuals and interactive instruction. My school is a big school made up a diverse population and a community of teachers who support and care for one another and their students. We are a family and we communicate weekly to figure out the best way to meet all the students needs. We also have a large ELL population. We are working rapidly to find strategies to instruct students using academic vocabulary and to help them progress.
