I teach a class of bilingual children who are mentally and physically disabled. Many of my students are in wheelchairs and all experience multiple challenges throughout the day. I work hard to help them progress, even when it seems tough. Two of the many difficulties they encounter involve using their fine motor skills and knowing how to play with toys. I have been working with the children to strengthen them and to teach them the concept of cause and effect. We use a variety of toys and activities to stimulate interest and increase motivation while learning.
