The Osmo and the accompanying tools and manipulatives will help my students solidify basic literacy and math skills in fun and engaging ways. With the Fire Tablet base and the accompanying games, my students will have the opportunity to practice and build their foundational skills.
The Osmo will help my students develop foundational skills independently and in a fun and engaging way! For many of my students, it is difficult for them to access their grade level curriculum independently and these tools will help students to work independently while getting necessary feedback to grow and learn.
With the games included in this project my students will work to explore and create letters to build foundational literacy skills. They will work to play games to build foundational math skills such as addition and subtraction. There is also a game included to work to build coding skills. While coding is not "academic" it is a skill that is growing and necessary. Some of my students who might not excel in traditional literacy or math can find strengths in coding!
