I work at a high need school where the majority of my students come from low income households. Many of my 4th grade diverse learners are also English Language Learners, which makes the need multi-sensory experiences even greater. My students are a joy to be around and are very eager to learn, but need more supports and resources than can be provided by the school. They have a blast with the hands on activities that I try to provide them on a daily basis, and in return I typically get their very best effort and work.
