Welcome to my 3rd grade classroom! My students are all eager to grow through knowledge and experience. They live in one of the largest geographical and most populated neighborhood's in Chicago. However, the neighborhood also has one of the highest poverty and violence rates in the city. Our classroom community is one in which we believe in the academic and social/emotional successes of ourselves and each other. Things like copy paper, Ink and Toner, Pencils, notebooks and tissues are tiny things that make our success a little bit easier and quicker to attain.
I am also a teacher leader for science and mathematics and will be looking for solutions and materials for the entire school Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade.
