I teach the very best group of fifth graders in Oklahoma. They are fun, smart, talented and eager to learn. My students attend school in a high poverty school district that has suffered many budget cutbacks. Most students in this district qualify for either free or reduced lunches. This is a rural community and there are not a lot of extras to go around for these students.
